Services
The DAPP Department provides a wide range
of general services to the public including:
● Zoning and variance information
● Population statistics and projections
● Community plans/profiles
● Design and Engineering Review Services
● Compliance Request Information
● Status of Development Activity/Applications
● Transportation planning information
● Subdivision and land division information
● Heritage information and resources
● Caledon’s environmental initiatives
Sections
Policy and Sustainability Section – sets Official Plan policy for the
Town, including Transportation Planning
Development Section – manages planning
development in the Town of Caledon, the Zoning By-law, 2006-50, and the Zoning
By-law, 2008-50 (to be approved by Minister; adopted by council)
Energy and Environment – promotes &
develops environmental initiatives
Heritage Resource Office – promotes and
develops heritage initiatives, and is a liaison with “Heritage Caledon”
Planning Law – provides legal services to the Town to support the development
process
Building
and Support Services – responsible for the enforcement of the Building Code
Act and the Ontario Building Code
